With Facebook's Capabilities, Why Don't More Marketers Use it?

With Facebook's Capabilities, Why Don't More Marketers Use it?

Last week, I analyzed Snapchat, the mobile application that has exploded in the last few years. I worked through a few articles that explored the recent developments that the application has used and explained how the application could be a huge opportunity for companies targeting millennials.

Facebook has been around for some time now. This platform of social media is used for sharing articles, photos and posts between friends. It has a further reach though than Snapchat and its' capabilities are nearly endless. The following post will walk you through how marketers can use Facebook for business purposes.

Step 1: Find Marketing Ad Goal Objective

3 Options: Raise Awareness, Grow Engagement, Boost Conversation

*You have chosen Raise Awareness*

Step 2: Determine More Specific Awareness Objective

3 Options: Brand Awareness Objective, Reach Objective, Video Views Objective

*You have chosen Reach Objective*

Step 3: Promote Your Business Locally and Increase Sales

*You choose one of the three dependent upon your marketing goal*

Conclusion: This simple marketing technique allows businesses to create advertisements quickly and candidly when they know their ultimate advertising goal. Facebook marketing is a way to attract more users at the convenience of their laptop or mobile device.

The idea that influencer marketing has led Instagram to changing their platform originated from the article "Instagram Expands Access to Brand...

I found that the increase in spending on marketing is being distributed to a variety of segments, one of which is social media. While most millennials agree that social media is essential for companies to keep up with, some people, usually in more traditional industries, disagree. I stumbled upon a mid-September article by Lucy Rendler-Kaplan on Social Media Today titled "Is Social Media a Good Thing or a Bad Thing?" This was actually a post in 2012 which was updated in 2015 and then again in September of 2017. I thought it was very inte...
